Most people are leaving the dating sites like ALT and collarme due to the high number of fakes on those sites now. You are far more likely to encounter spam and scammers than anything else on them now. Most have gone over to fetlife. However the best bet for meeting someone is still your local munch groups, there you can see how they interact with others, check their reputations, etc.

I find this blog so fascinating and I’ve read through the whole thing more than once. I hope to hear more from you about your daily life and the lives of others. I agree with you to a certain degree about the money issue, but at the same time it’s kind of understandable…what they do is their livelihood…just like other sites sell advertising to make a living. What they do is their job, just like if you rang up those old types of dating services you’d have to pay them :) While I’d love for everything online to be free, unfortunately the internet is just like the real-world…you don’t expect to go into a an ice-cream parlor and expect to get a free icecream cone after the free taste test?

I do know of some other BDSM community sites that are free to use, perhaps I’ll do a review of one of those in the future, I have reviewed alt.com several times simply because it’s what I used to get into the lifestyle I’m in and really am thankful that they exist every day!

If you see the msg just to say she may be farther away then you think if im correct in saying the internet does this special thing where it creates a map around the area you are based and in this for me its showing me near the London area in your case its different.

I could be wrong that said however I always get msgs claiming tthat theres all these sexy women in a town 1 mile away I know thats all rubbish because half of them will live in america and the other half somewhere else.

I did join this site that said however im tight with money and they are stingy to ppl without silver or gold accounts so funny how the accout I set up with them is almost useless its only purpose is to be seen by others I cant check my own e-mails or other ppls profiles without forking out money its really evil to let ppl set up accounts just to tell them thats as far as they can go they can set up an account and thats it or pay £100 something a year if you meet someone thats good but if you dont then the money was wasted its a double edged sword
