Today I was browsing Roperookie.com since there’s something about their photography that I’m in love with and I happened to stumble upon this set:

I found this little tied up ballerina so absolutely stunning that I just had to share her with you! I’m not sure why I am so attracted to this one set. I think it has something to do with my recent fascination of humans acting like dolls or marianates and with her face covered like that she does seem like a faceless doll. Or it could be the fact that the colors are so subdued and natural looking thus, calming. Even if she did not have ballerina shoes on I would say that the pictures and the different poses that she is put into reflect an element of ballet. A horribly delicious ballet of rope and restraint. Either way, whatever it is that makes me so intringued with these pictures, it is definitely something beautiful and expressive.
